Verse 1

I believe that You can heal me
And that You’re longing for it too
I don’t understand the waiting
But I still choose to trust in You
I hear rumours of You moving
That You’re right here in this room
I reach out to grab Your garments
God I won’t let go of You

Pre Chorus

Have mercy have mercy
Have mercy oh Lord

Chorus

Jesus Son of David
Don’t pass me by
Jesus Son of David
Don’t pass me by

Verse 2

Every morning I’ll keep asking
That today might be the day
When the mighty God of healing
Sends a miracle my way
I wasn’t born to be a victim
And my portion isn’t pain
I am a story in the making
I am a testament of grace

Verse 3

If there’s a valley
Before the breakthrough
Then I’ll flood it with my praise
If it’s two steps forwards
One step back
I’ll keep pressing on in faith
I have a desperate prayer for healing
That the cynics cannot tame
I will wrestle past to meet You
I’ll keep getting in Your face

Pre Chorus

Have mercy have mercy
Have mercy oh Lord

Chorus

Jesus Son of David
Don’t pass me by
Jesus Son of David
Don’t pass me by

Bridge

I’m not gonna let You go
I’m gonna hold You to Your word
You said my faith
Can move the mountains
And I believe what I have heard
So I’ll cling onto Your garments
I’ll hold on when it hurts
I don’t care what it might look like
I’ll scream and shout out

Chorus

Jesus Son of David
Don’t pass me by
Jesus Son of David
Don’t pass me by
